The Challenge
Bakes By Bree was growing quickly and needed stronger operational systems to support long-term success. As the business expanded, there was a growing need for clearer financial tracking, employee structure, and operational organization. Without consistent systems in place, areas such as training, delegation, inventory organization, and policy communication could become difficult to manage efficiently as the team continued to grow.
What blue sky did
Blue Sky worked closely with Bakes By Bree to create systems designed to support both immediate operations and future scalability. We helped establish long-term business goals and identify operational priorities to better focus time and resources. We provided recommendations for financial best practices, including tracking methods and organizational strategies, along with custom spreadsheets for financial tracking and cost of goods sold. We also assisted with team development by offering guidance on employee training, retention, accountability, and disciplinary procedures. Operationally, we helped organize storage areas, including the business shed, to improve efficiency and accessibility. Additionally, we developed internal resources such as Human Resources forms, a comprehensive Employee Handbook with policies, and a Front of House training manual and testing system to create consistency across the team experience.
